Isabel Gabbe

born in Munich to French German parents is teaching in the University "Mozarteum" Salzburg (Department Innsbruck). She is regurlarly invited to work for the Klavier-Festival Ruhr. As artistic director and president she is leading the Chamber Music Fesival "Moments Musicaux" in France.

Isabel Gabbe has given master-classes and workshops in France, Brazil and Germany.

As a soloist and accompanist she won numerous prizes and awards at the Bremen International Piano Competition, the International Duo Competition “Maria Canals” Barcelona (Spain), the International Chamber Music Competition Caltanissetta and she was chosen for the artist list of the German “Musikrat”.

In concerts she played as a soloist and chamber music partner throughout Europe, Brazil and the U.S.


Isabel produced  for Deutschland Radio Berlin, Sender Freies Berlin, WDR, France2 and Radio Bremen. Her Debut CD with suites from Debussy, Ravel, Bach and Albéniz was released in 2006. In 2013 she produced a CD with songs of the contemporary composer John Patrick Thomas. In 2014 a CD with the Rossini Petite Messe Solennelle was produced with her at the piano. In 2015 the CD "Weihnachtsmann, mach Du das mal!" was published.
